CITY COUNCIL MEETING 520 Jackson Avenue November 21, 2023 – 6:30 pm AGENDA CALL TO ORDER ROLL CALL READING AGENDA – ADDITIONS/DELETIONS AUTHORIZATION TO PARTICIPATE IN MEETING VIA REMOTE ACCESS CONSENT AGENDA – ITEMS DESIGNATED BY (*) Illinois local governments may adopt by a single roll call vote ordinances, resolutions, motions and orders. RECOGNITION OF DETECTIVE/OFFICER AND SERGEANT: Recognizing Detective/Officer Patrick Easterday for his investigative abilities in regard to the Perkins/Gouzoukis case, which resulted in both suspects being charged with drug-induced homicide, and consequently, deadly narcotics were removed from the streets. Recognizing Sergeant Scott Workman for his investigative skills in regard to tracing the source of a fentanyl dealer that caused a drug-induced homicide. Due to his interview and interrogation abilities, he was able to obtain a confession, resulting in an indictment in this case.
